How to reboot a router remotely via browser

Published on May 02, 2015

There is no need to go and check the router whenever the net goes down in your home or work place. You can easily reboot or restart your router from your browser itself. To do this, follow the below steps:

Step 1: Open your browser and type your router’s IP Address in the address bar which is generally                                                  http://192.168.1.1”;. Give the username and password if there are any.

Step 2: Select “Basic Settings” which is visible on the left side of the page.

Step  3: Now press “Apply” which is on the bottom of the page.

This reboots the router and the net connection goes up. On other advertisements, if you need expert plumbing service for your home or office, checkout the link above.
