Advanced options missing under write post in wordpress
While writing or editing a post there several options that can be found on the page.
Sometimes we accidentally delete or remove any special options like
- Format
- Categories
- Tags
There may be several other options depending on the plugins you had installed.
Procedure to restore & select required options:
- On the top-right side of the Add-new Post /Edit-post screen, you can find ‘Screen Options’.
- Click on it to open the list of advanced options.
- Check the box corresponding to any option for it to appear below the editor.
